Since LG presented their (cool!) new Smart-TVs powered by webOS, my beloved operating system is trending again. Reviews were positive in general and one must admin that the system looks very promising. In hope to fuel webOS rising again (at least in social media), I have played around with twitter bots on my MSI Windbox running archlinux and created a little bot retweeting things tagged with the webos-hashtag. Due to a bad coincidence of a similar term existing in (Mexican?) slang, there also might be tweets in that timeline not quite covering technology, but hopefully, those are not taking over…

Ich werde wohl mit dem Alter immer unsozialer: Erst habe ich mich von MeinVZ verabschiedet, dann von Heello.
Seit eben bin ich auch aus Google+ verschwunden. Ich habe das Google-Netzwerk sowieso nicht wirklich genutzt und hatte nur wenige Kontakte (von denen die meisten es auch nicht genutzt haben…), da war die Entscheidung sehr schnell getroffen. Google räumt ja gerade sein Portfolio auf, da schließe ich mich einfach an und verabschiede mich von Google Diensten, die ich bisher (zumindest manchmal) genutzt habe:

Vor einigen Wochen habe ich mich bei Heello angemeldet – einem Twitter-Klon mit Potenzial, aber ohne echten Mehrwert. Und jetzt? Auf der Plattform ist so viel los, es fehlt nur noch der obligatorische Busch, der vom Wind durch die Gegend getrieben wird (wie in alten Western-Filmen). Ich bin gespannt, wann das Teil offline geht…
